The blue-black berries are the essential ingredients for making Sloe Gin.
Blackthorn is generally found in hedgerow and is one of the first trees to flower in spring with lovely pale pink flowers and small blue-black berries in late August.
The tree will come with a recipe for ‘Sloe Gin’ so delicious on a cold winter’s day.
