Unless specifically agreed in writing, the following terms and conditions will apply on entering mkn.co.uk/hampers and apply to orders placed with MarketNet - Hampers UK. Christmas Deliveries
Please note that your order might be delivered one or two days before your selected delivery date.
Please allow 48 hours for Europe, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

These are made by Courier, Parcel Force, First Class Letter Post or DHL. Deliveries of orders placed on our website are made Monday to Friday, (excluding bank and national holidays), during working hours. To allow for weekends, holidays, time differences, delivery distance, customs clearance etc., it is advisable to place orders two working days or more before a chosen delivery date. We then aim to despatch the hamper to arrive as close as possible to that date or a day before. We guarantee to replace any item damaged or lost in transit within the UK (In Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland the delivery might take 2 days). Guarantees on overseas deliveries can be offered by prior arrangement.
Please allow 48 hours for hamper deliveries in Northern Ireland and Scotland. WORLDWIDE DELIVERIES We are experienced in sending parcels all over the world, but because of local customs restrictions, you are advised to contact us before ordering hampers for delivery outside Western Europe. EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS Please allow 48 hours for Europe.

PARTIES The vendors are John Hemming trading as MarketNet and as mkn.co.uk ("the vendors" or "MarketNet") of 78 Alcester Road, Moseley, Birmingham B13 8BB. Any notices to be sent to the vendor shall be deemed given when sent by facsimile, email or letter to the above address or to <info@mkn.co.uk>. The purchaser shall be anyone entering mkn.co.uk/hampers or placing an order with MarketNet-Hampers UK. PAYMENT TERMS Payment may be made by Visa/MasterCard, American Express or Maestro and should be made with an order unless a credit account has previously been arranged. Payment on credit accounts is due 28 days from date of invoice and should be paid by bank transfer or, if specifically agreed, by cheque or credit card. Any discounts agreed will apply only to amounts at a rate of 1.5% per month. PRICES AND TITLE Title to goods supplied will remain with MarketNet until all sums due by the purchaser are paid in full. Prices of the MarketNet hamper range are reviewed with effect from 1st September each year and purchasers are advised to check and confirm prices of hamper orders placed before this date for despatch following it. Purchases on mkn.co.uk/hampers will be charged at the prices ruling at the date of the order. We reserve the right to amend prices should there be changes in relevant legislation. SERVICE AND PRODUCTS Service is all important to MarketNet: We have an established reputation for a personal and caring approach, combined with an efficient delivery service which we regard as the key to our continuing success. We select the finest quality produce and will replace or make a refund in respect of any item which does not arrive in good condition or is lost in transit. This does not affect statuory rights of the purchaser as a consumer. Many of our hampers are available throughout the year. Day to day availability can be checked on mkn.co.uk or by contact with the vendor. The published last order date for guaranteed delivery before Christmas is the nearest full working day to 15th December. In past years however, all orders received later than last dates published on mkn.co.uk/hampers have been sent out in time for Christmas. Any later dates published are the vendor's target and not a contractual commitment and are dependent upon the levels of sales, the levels of stock held and the currect performance of the carriers. While photography and descriptions are intended to be accurate, the vendor reserves the right to substitute items of similar or greater value if, for any reason, those stated are unavailable. Plates, glasses, wine boxes and other props shown in photographs are not included in a hamper unless specifically listed.
Alcohol is only available for sale to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order the purchaser shall be deemed to have confirmed that they are at least 18 years old.
Sample can be supplied for large orders. However, MarketNet reserves the right to change for theses at the agreed price. DELIVERIES Deliveries are made by appointed carriers depending on the destination, and the product, or as specifically agreed with the purchaser. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, (excluding bank adn national holidays). To allow for weekends, holidays, time differences, delivery distance, customs, clearance etc, it is advisable for purchasers to place orders two working days or more before a chosen delivery date. The vendors aim to despatch goods to arrive as close as possible to that date or a day before, taking account the delivery time and whether any perishable items are included in the order. In the event of non delivery within the UK due to an incorrect address or incorrect recipient information supplied by the purchaser, or if the recipient specified by the customer refuses to accept the parcel, MarketNet reserves the right to make a change of a minimum of 50% of the original order for re-directing or re-sending the order. CANCELLATION AND CLAIMS Should the purchaser, for any reasons, request to cancel an order prior to despatch, the purchaser agrees to reimburse any loss incured by MarketNet. Notification of damages or non-delivery must be made in writing to the vendor within 21 days of the due delivery date. SECURITY OF INFORMATION Great care is taken by the vendors to make all information held secure including using Secure Socket Layer (128Bit) security for credit card information in online purchases. MarketNet reserves the right to amend theses terms and conditions from time to time.

You'll need to complete a different message box for each hamper if you want a different message, or, if you would like to repeat your message, you can simply copy and paste the text into each message box. | | Q: | What are your Delivery Times? | | A: | Based on the premise that a gift is better received early rather than late, we aim to deliver on or the day before the requested delivery date.
We deliver during office hours of 9 - 5 so if the recipient is likely to be working, why not ask for the gift to be delivered to their work address - this way you are sure to catch them. | | Q: | What happens when the recipient is not in? | | A: | If the recipient is not in when delivery is attempted, DHL will leave a card requesting that the recipient contact DHL on the number provided on the card to arrange an alternative date for delivery. | | Q: | Would DHL call the recipients in case of a problem? | | A: | The couriers don't all carry phones that can make outgoing calls.
The reason for the phone numbers is so that if it is a problem finding the address the couriers can contact the recipient, or alternatively, if we have been alerted that a card has been left, we can contact the recipient, and check that redelivery is in hand.

DHL next working day which is automatically applied to the majority of hampers and requires a signature on delivery. The cut off for next working day orders placed online is 9am on the previous day. If you would like to order for next day delivery after 9am, please call our customer services on +44 (0)121 256 1301. There is tracking available on our website for this delivery method.
First Class Post which automatically applies to jigsaws, chocolates and small packs of smoked salmon. Unfortunately we are unable to offer tracking facilities for this delivery method as none is provided by the Post Office. | | Q: | Do you Deliver on Saturdays? | | A: | Unfortunately you cannot request a Saturday delivery when ordering online. | | Q: | What Happens with International Deliveries? | | A: | Each country has its own laws as to what food and alcohol items it will allow in. All these are taken into account for each of our hampers, so if you select a hamper but cannot select the required international delivery address, it is because we are not allowed to send it to this specific country.
Each country has its own customs regulations too. Customs may decide to hold up a delivery as part of their spot check routine. Unfortunately they do not tell us when they do this and we are unable to ask them to release it. However, this happens very rarely, and usually our gifts are released within a day.

| A: | Incorrect OR insufficient delivery details can result in late or non-delivery. In that case the courier will return the hampers to our depot. We can either re-deliver the hamper for an extra 50% of the hamper or a refund of 50% of the hamper. |
